Cunningham Gulch

At base camp in Silverton the elevation is 9318 ft, all the trails go up from here. All of the trails go up to between 11,000 and 14,000 ft and being the first of June all are still closed or only open in the lower sections. Started on one this morning but had to turn back because of snow, turning around is always tricky as the trails are very narrow. They are also very slippery and it is a long way down. Drove up Cunningham gulch, all the trails over the divide are still closed but it is still a beautiful place with many waterfalls.
