Whatcom Falls Park

Another of the waterfalls in Whatcom Falls Park. The streaks in the water are the movement of foam during the six second exposure.

Bellingham, Washington

Whatcom Lake is across the street from the house and a few blocks away a stream flows out of the lake into Whatcom Park. This park is a large wooded park right in the city of Bellingham with a lot of hiking trails and waterfalls. This waterfall is a few yards from the parking lot.

Mt Baker Wildernes Area

So today it is over 110 in Lake Havasu. That is one reason I am here. Down here at the coast in Bellingham it got up to 71 yesterday but today it was 65. The ski area near Mt Baker still has a lot of snow but it is starting to melt forming a lot of waterfalls.
Also granddaughter number one graduated from college here last week which makes a great reason to be here this summer. The second one graduates next year and the third a year later. Should get to know the area real well by then.
