Aqaba is a large city but is is not uncommon to see camels in town including this guy exercising his camel as he drives his car. My brother even rode his camel to Mc Donalds. Talk about east meeting West.

Camels at the Castle

On a narrow road up to Shobak, a unrestored Crusaders castle, We ran into this guy and his herd of camels. Counted over 38 camels of all ages and temperaments.
