Martyrs Square in Damascus

After seven flights on four airlines over three continents I got home on Friday night. Our good friend in California picked me up at the airport in California and drove me home from there. It's always good to be home and now am getting ready for a trip next week.
The picture above shows some of the buses in Martyrs Square that were always parked there with security forces in them. On our last Friday there were over 20 buses parked in the square which was full of men with clubs. Our hotel was to the left of the new mosque.
