Just arrived at my hotel in Cairo -The Swiss Inn. Thankfully I had a guide pick me up at the airport as there are at least 5 Swiss Inns in Cairo. 32 hours from home to hotel. Both the flight to London and from there to Cairo were late by about an hour or so,good thing the one out of London was late as had only a short layover in London. Terminal 5 in London is big, to change planes required two train rides, a security check, and many long walkways and escalators. The driver at Cairo airport had a flat tire in the airport parking lot slowing us down a bit. Will never get used to Cairo traffic especially at night when most cars do not use head lights except to flash at others along with constant horn blasts.
Flew into London in daylight and had great views along the river and the same views on the way out in the dark then in Cairo flew over the Nile at the Egyptian Museum and over the Citadel with its large Mosque.

Hi Jim. Great idea about posting and having your own blog. By the way, you have a keen eye for photography and a unique way of capturing your subject material. You may be just the guy I'm looking for as we start a blog for our LLU dental class. as you know, next year is our 30th and a blog would be fantastic method of communication as we plan our renuion and keep in touch.
